  1. Vivotek WDR PRO II camera series: WDR PRO II max power: MDwpwycR-SE WDR PRO II on minimum! It looked soooo much better on max power, but there was no moving objects on scene and I bet that someone would tell that it is "fake" 45GgYkGdeEA And trailer that I made using those and some other videos. My After Effect skills are getting better O8m_nr0__WM
  2. What kind of latency? We are using even IP PTZ cameras and latency is not a problem o.0

tv hdmi out to nvr recorder in

Yes you can do that, but those converters are expensive as hell, try googling "HDMI grabber", much better solution for recording TV shows. You can even find some with HDCP cracker.
  4. DAMN! I love this cam Looks good! Any chance for a video, that I could use for my youtube channel? I will credit you of course And here is HikVision 2CD2012 4.0mm mini bullet:
  5. Thanks m8! Btw. why there are no PoE powered laptops? o.0
  6. 802.3at - ~15.4W (PoE) 802.3af - ~30W (PoE+) There is even High PoE and it allows you to power PTZ cameras that needs about 60W of power.

    Avigilon vs Sony?

The Vivotek image of the 3D Glasses box is 180 pixels wide, while the Sony is 200 pixels wide. That's pretty close, and if anything, the Sony should slightly give better detail with the slightly higher PPI resolution, but it's too washed out. The Vivotek is the only one where the detail on the box behind the light is relatively clear. The small text on the Diablo box is definitely clearer on the Sony, possibly because of the higher PPI resolution in less challenging light area. I'm not saying one camera's better than the other in general, but for WDR performance, I don't think I've seen anything better than the Vivotek in that price range. This. Also, the lamp has 104x104 pixels on Vivotek, and on for example Avigilon it's 114x114 pixels, not much difference. I understand that you are surprised by those results (so am I), I would make some shots on 1280x720 to make same aspect ratio, but I have to return Avigilon cam back to distributor :/ Maybe if I ask them nicely for a one extra week they will agree and I will make some other tests Also SONY will send me HD bullet cam with even better WDR (this one was 90dB, HD is 130dB, wanna see that).

    Avigilon vs Sony?

Because of aspekt ratio I think, 1280 x 1024. It rly doesn't matter. Here is some other shot: It looks good because of 140dB WDR I think.

    Avigilon vs Sony?

I decided I will go for 2.0W-H3A-B01 bullet, and compare it to SONY EB632R and Vivotek IP8355H + ACTi E31 software WDR crap for reference image. WDR test: - 3.0 Lux - shutter minimum set to 1/30 - Bitrate VBR but max set to 12Mbps - AGC auto - BLC auto
  10. Acti vs GeoVision vs Samsung WDR test Soon - Sony vs Avigilon
  11. Currently we are testing PTZ cameras (SONY, ACTI and VIVOTEK), here is an interesting function, defog: hQaZ_5DL_b0 I know, I know, we need better scene To bad I didn't had ACTi I-series PTZ with me then, now I have to wait for another foggy day :/

    Hikvision default password

Ok, is there any working link for this tool?

    Avigilon vs Sony?

I have SONY EB630 - FullHD, lowlight, WDR camera for about 860 USD GPL. What Avigilon cam should I take to compare?
  14. Korgoth Of Barbaria

    Avigilon vs Sony?

I agree. Also, I would LOVE to compare those cameras in low light conditions. I will ask our polish Avigilon distributor, but I doubt they will send me sample for testing.

    Avigilon vs Sony?

Don't forget to add: Over priced bad support I'm using SONY here in Poland for some time now. Support is very good, they even give you prime support warranty - they will send you new camera if you tell them that you've got broken one. No need to wait for repairs. And about quality? Those EB600 EB630 or bullets EB632R are one of the best cameras I had. Price? Box cameras are cheap, I mean they cost just like GeoVision crap. Bullets - little more expensive, but still worth it. I've got some samples from those cams, comparing to ACTi "low light" crap camera, GeoVision, Samsung, HikVision and so on. I will upload them soon on my youtube channel, for now I can post some image samples. Check them here: http://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwSKOljhW7uETXVOb3BYaTFRSzQ&usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwSKOljhW7uEaTdlb29LV3pLSzA&usp=sharing There is image from day only dome XM631 - just check how it performs at night. Also, I like the way they make datasheets, for example "Minimum Illumination" parameter: Sony EB600: Other brands (Avigilon too): No info about shutter, no info about IRE and so on. So, IMHO Sony is not bad at all

    Best switches for IP cameras

I've been using those switches on some rly big systems, 24 PoE and fiber uplinks, no problems at all. We choose those because of the support - onsite, 24x7x4
  17. Hello! I'm back! Who missed me?! I've got lots of new samples for you guys For example, new Vivotek, IP8155H box 4HaUry3WUgY What ya think 'bout that?
  18. Hello I'm testing this solution, it's live stream from Hikvision camera on youtube. This way, using only 1.5Mbps upload, unlimited number of viewers can watch this camera. There is even chat option on the right. I made a few tweaks from my last try, and this time it should be smooth. qaNxF0xvF5A

    samsung SNO-6011R

It's rly good. Low bitrate for a FullHD camera, good low light performance. I'm using ExacqVision START installed on old HP desktop PC (core 2 Duo), 8 cams, no problem
  22. I was using FullHD cams with 5 fps on cars moving 80+ kmph. You don't need frame rate for clear image, you need fast shutter. I used IQeye IQ7XX series for LPR instalations and everything worked great.

    Acti E31 E32 E33 D31 D32 Whats the scoop?

I've got mine E97 also, this heat problem is not a big issue here in Poland, but we will see the image quality, I hope it's as good as price. I was testing this new E95 - FullHD Super Low lux cam and it's not bad at all, better that GeoVision low lux cams, I will post videos soon. There is also E96 waiting for testing
  24. I don't think that your cam is defective, I think is just way it handles noise reduction and exposure value, I had similar effect on some IQeye cams. To be sure, just take one of your other cams and change place with this "defective"
  25. New video sample from GeoVision GV-BX2400. I rly like those, great quality at day and good low light capabilities. Here I was testing cheap EVATAR 10-40mm lens, it's little bit "soft", but I am happy with results. 7Tw0MstClM8
