  1. ACTi cheap TCM-5111 1.3 Mpixel camera: yiV2WiSbTKs
  2. GeoVision IP Cameras are very popular here in Poland, because they are cheap and you get free GV-NVR. We sold hundreds of them, image is good, but there is one more thing failure rate - BX120, BL120, MFD120, 130, 220 are ok. PTZ are also ok, but other cameras seams to have much higher failure rate, BX220 and BX320 is the worst of them all.
  3. Try to add them like this: rtsp://:8554/CH001.sdp - it should work.

    Vivotek IP7361 vs Pelco IXE10LW

Not a fan of Vivotek, but buellwinkle is right. Can you make some more samples? with same angle for both cameras?

    WDR & Megapixels

I like ExDR in new ACTi cameras. I have to make some samples to show how it works. Also, here is sample from GV-BX140: zGBSqftfQ1g
  7. Just like we did here: LC_adLiwQJI Its on auto-patrol with 2 presents. It's 400m from that statue.
  8. Hello there Maybe someone know how many clients/users can connect to one Exacq Pro server? I need solution for medium residential area with ~500 users.
  9. Sample from KCM-5611: LIeldFirxQQ

    ACTI KCM-5611 v.s. ACTI KCM-5311E

Hi I have to say that KCM-5611 is much more better than KCM-5311E. More details, better ExDR, HUGE difference in low light performance. Here is video from KCM-5611 LIeldFirxQQ
  11. We use GeoVision with GeoVision GV-Data Capture Box 3E. This Data Capture box can be connected to POS, fuel distributors, scales etc. You can serach video by POS data, but also there is software GV-Web report. It makes online charts from POS data. Info here: http://www.geovision.com.tw/english/3_1_POS.asp

    Best HDcctv camera?

Well 5.0 Mpixel cams are nor blind @ night, there are some cameras that can give you nice picture. For exaple, I made it with IQ765 5.0 Mpixel IQeye camera: 3HGm1fs8hxo Also, low frame rate? Well in most cases interators use like 5-10 fps anyway so what is the problem? No latency in HD-SDI? Maybe in future, now server/DVR have to encode that huge stream, so there is some latency. Also if you use switches and have good software for IP CCTV, you can lower latency to practicaly non.
  13. Very nice, what is the distance from cam to statue? Here: 50.858803, 21.053064 on google maps

Why Ip camera is better than analog?

Its IQ541 - 100 USD IP camera. And that: And that: And because when I see this: zBWsU5UfvHU I wanna puke. And for about 20% more money, I can get this: POCClIBuNVE
  15. Just like SEANHAWG said, check that IR separator. Also change video bit rate mode from CBR to VBR for your main stream.
  16. Cheap and easy: Camera: TCM-4511 from ACTi - 1.3Mpixel, H.264 - cheap and rly nice Recording: Exacq START - licence is not expensive, and you can install it on LINUX. Clients can use any system - Windows, MAC, Linux, also they can use client program, or just web browser.
  17. Ho about ACTi KCM-5311E or KCM-5211E? 2.0 or 4.0 Mpixel outdoor cameras with zoom and autofocus, and they are not that expensive. Here in Poland KCM-5311E is on the same price lvl like Vivotek IP8362. KCM-5211E: p_CV9zHB6po KCM-5311E: LC_adLiwQJI

    Avigilon 5MP H.264 samples

OMG! can you post that picture or link to it? How hard can it be? Use dropbox or something ...
  19. KCM-5311E - FullHD camera with 35x zoom, here in 720p and about 28-30x zoom. LC_adLiwQJI

    Acti TCM 4201 vs. 5111 vs. 1111

BOX TCM-5111 is almost same price as TCM-4201, (~280 USD here in Poland) and it comes with 4.2mm evatar lens included @OP If there is no light choose TCM-1111, it will be better at night, dont worry about winters, ACTi cameras are getin' pretty hot, here in Poland we get like -30 and cameras are fine, I will take that -20 as "starting work temperature".
  21. I am having some challenges with night mode at the moment, so nothing to share as of yet. The IR illuminators are posing quite a problem and it seems as though the sensor doesn't do very well at default levels, so I'm still playing around with it. Do you have anything in higher res than 800x600?
  22. Not yet :/ I used AVN363 - 1.3Mpixel on MOS sensor - it looked rly nice, hope that AVN807a will have same quality, but I can't see any info about sensor.
  23. When I chose swith for IP megapixel cameras, I'm checking port buffer size (should be 192kb or more) and overall switch speed, should be 2x sum of all ports - for 8 port switch it should be 100x8x2 = 1.6Gbps. Also for more than 8 cameras, I always use switches with one or two gigabit ports. For exaple Cisco SF 300-8P (lifetime warranty) or cheaper (5yr warranty) Allied Telesis AT-FS708/POE 8FE
  24. Some night shots from AVTech AVN257 - rly cheap IP bullet camera (like 120$ here in Poland): EvFLQk9LKIQ XihtDF3Qp58 K95ulcCZgnE
  25. FD8134V is indoor dome, vandalproof but still indoor. Maybe in your climate it can be mounted outdoor, but here in Poland I doubt it
