What is so hard about changing the firmware to make changes to the software? or do these companies, just want us to buy the latest products. so that 1. jpg snapshot image gets send via email 2. an interface for adding IP camera's for recording an ip camera to a channel?... like a virtual channel... making the 4 channel a 5 or 6 chanel with virtual cams? surely it can be done... I would love it.

you doing it right. try format the usb stick? what file system is it fat32?

Thanks... would be cool if the firmware for the KPD674 could be changed to send a snaphot via email when an alert is emailed, instead of just the html link.
