Hi, We have recently installed this Axis Camera Station 3 in our Windows Server 2008 and when we connect, all it says is "Reconnecting to Cameras in 59 seconds", and it keeps repeating that. The Axis M3011 Cameras are all detected and working on a laptop when I link it up, but something on the windows server seems to be blocking the video stream. I can even see the live images on internet explorer. Anyone here knows what the problem could be? I have disabled all firewalls. Please help. Thanks

Hi, We have been using the GV8.3 for our clients and it seems that I cant connect to all cameras using Multiview remotely. Out of 8 cameras, only 3-4 cameras will ever appear and it takes ages. It is the same case for all other clients using V8.3. Does anyone out there have the same problem and knows how to solve it? Regards Jay

Hi guys, We have a project that involves a toll management company and they wish to monitor the toll booths that is spread out over a 60km highway. They do not have any internet connectivity at the booths and the only option would to go wireless which a LAN network to its highway office that is also along the 60km. Any one here have any recommendations on the type of wireless set up and products to be used? Regards

Was wondering if anyone has ever encountered flickering camera images? Most likely something to do with the power but any one knows the exact reason? By the way, I'm using a 230V-50Ghz Input, and 12V Output, however the socket that i've conneceted to is a 220V input, will this effect the image? Thanks

Hello Squiffy, Thanks for the reply, In fact I tried connecting the power adapter through a UPS and still it is flickering, it is not very bad, but still... The cables shouldnt affect as it is a demo set, and cables are 1m max. Oh well, I'll try all possibilites and update the thread.

Hi Guys, Anyone using the Center V2 Pro version. I have a client who has 500GB of space using the pro and recently we added another 500GB. I have set the recycle log to both harddrives. But when the first 500GB harddrive is full, the event log says its full and doesnt move on to the second harddrive? Anyone know how i can solve this problem? Thanks

I can save hosts using IP Addresses (202.34.23.76) and is able to connect to different hosts as long as i have the IP Address. However, by saving hosts using DDNS Address instead of IP Address, i cannot connect to the server. If i use Dynamic IP address, it will mean the video will get cut off at times when IP address changes? Any solutions Guys?

yeah, i've tried using no-ip ddns addresses without the http://.....but it doesnt connect, tried a few locations....mine only works with IP addresses. Is there any fault with the program or settings?

Hello Rory, I tested your V2 Hack where it kills the explorer. Using it for the first few days was okay, then some errors occurred and claimed the Geovision Software is not genuine, but it 100% is. Anyways, i went back to using the normal V2 without the hack and it worked fine until it now has this error whenever i startup "Failed to enable directdraw stretch function." And the remote sites are not connecting to the CenterV2? Do you know what is the problem? Thanks man

tried the program and it does remove the log. Good Job. However Rory, when the log is removed, the CenterV2 still does not take over the whole screen, instead we can view the part of the desktop in the background? Is it meant to be that way?

Does remote viewing through PDA work as long as the PDA has a web browser and internet connection? Can i log in as though the PDA was a regular PC? Or do i need special software/applications from the DVR manuafacturer? Anyone knows how all this DVR-PDA works?

Is there any way to minmize the logs on the Centre V2 program, or at least bring it to somewhere less space-taking? Any method to enlarge the video size? The Centre V2 shows small thumbnails of the video....a little too small...

i have tried the floating list thing, but when i'm on the layout tab, i cannot change the floating list or even move it around. it only allows me to change the resolution, but i cannot edit the bottom or right tab....Is that suppose to be the way?

Im having problems with the Geovision card, the dvr has its ports forwarded, 81 3550 4550 6550, 546-5549. In the LAN, all works fine, when i test it out of the network, i'm able to get all the way to "Connect to Server.." and it simply hangs there. Also i need to connect the client dvr with a remote CenterV2 Pro, any one here is well versed in CenterV2. Cant seem to get it to work. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Thanks

CameraGenius, For the centerV2, i have forwarded 5545-5549 on the DVR and Server, still doenst work. As for firewall settings and any antivirus program, in the DVR system, i have disabled firewall from Services and we do not have any antivirus program. Checking the router system log doesnt show any traffic being blocked... Do not know what i have to do now..ha

Hi, i have a 4 channel system running at my workplace and i am able to view the web server through other computers running on the same network. However when i try to log on remotely, i can get to the login page for the web server but after that it says connection failed. anyone know whats the problem?
