AVtech's ipad app is really good and fast. I haven't seen another with playback. -
Hi, I've done a search but couldn't find anything. Client wants me to change some cameras which are better for low light and I was looking at the VBM-24VF or an equivalent with Exview as heard the Sony's are better for low light now. What do you guys think please? Thanks.

Hi, I got a mail this morning from a client who wants to upgrade his Autodomes to MICs but they are really expensive. Are there any cheaper alternatives to this which do the same job? If need be, I can import them as I'm sure they will still be cheaper than getting the MICs! Thanks.

Thanks, will check it out. Is Bosch the only company that has this type of camera? aren't there any from Asia that have similar? Thanks.

Hi, A client has a nightclub with outdoor parking and wants some cameras to be installed. This will be my first installation for this type of environment. They said they want it to be unobtrusive. Would you say (mini) bullet cameras are best? If yes, could you please recommend me some models. Thank you!

Many thanks Rory. So out of the 420 TVL and 600 Exview model, which would you go for? I checked on their website and they only have one model for hte 420. Is the 420 you mention the KPC-S190S and the 600 exview the KPC-E230? Also, would you use a pin hole bullet? Thanks

I was looking at their cameras a while back. How are they? How's the quality? Any distortion?

When you say certain CCTV products, what does it say exactly?
-
Do you want PTZ with internal or external IR? When you say perfect zoom, up to what distance?
-
Most minis are 10x. I use the Bosch juniors (clients wanted the best).

I'm also contemplating Dahua or TVT for future installs. Has anyone here used both and what do you think? Thanks

Hi, Would be extremely grateful for any advice and recommendations please. I have a client who wants a 'high-end professional' grade 16-way standalone DVR for their warehouse. It needs all the 'bells and whistles' from POS, PTZ, D1, reliable motion detection, iphone app, USB backup only (they don't want DVD-RW), etc. Will use at least 6TB HDDs. Also, is there anything higher than D1 at the moment? They also want a budget 8-way standalone DVR for their offices indoors with no fancy features except iphone app if possible, and just guaranteed quality and reliability. GUI on both models have to be simple and straight forward as they said a few of their employees will be accessing them both in the office and remotely and not all are IT proefficient. They asked me that both models need to have some sort of protection/backup system if there is a power cut..is this possible? Thanks a million

Thanks Bean. They want about 30-60mins backup as security/maintenance should within that time sort it out. Thanks also for the info about HDcctv. They said they want an analog system and not IP based, so I guess D1@30fps should be ok for them. Thanks wireguys, I'll check them out.
