  1. I have a Honeywell HREP4F500 that we are trying to get networked. I have even tried to reset to factor settings using the settings menu with no change. Here is the problem. No matter what I try to change and set the IP address to, it always reverts to the following which is a broadcast address: IP: 255.255.255.255 Gateway: 0.0.0.0 Subnet: 255.255.255.255 I am more of a networking engineer than a CCTV engineer so I know this is a problem with the DVR and not the network. It doesn't matter if a network cable is even plugged in or not, it always reverts to the above. If I set it for DHCP, it reverts to the above. I also verfied in my router and no DHCP leases have been issued. I have a AVSSYS.net DVR system that uses the exact same interface as the Honeywell and it worked without issue. Do I have a bad NIC in this DVR? Thanks in advance!
