    I can only confirm that it can work with Window 7 32bits. As for 64 bits, i have not tried it before.

    HIKVISION DVRs can be accessed by IE or IVMS4000 (Remote Monitoring Software). The default port for IE access is 80 and for IVMS4000, it is 8000. Depend on whether you can accessing the DVR locally or thru internet, there is different setting but mostly is on the network setting.
