Kalatel PTZ camera and digimerge vcd dvr
JMANOFNVS replied to erict@airweld.net's topic in General Digital Discussion
I think it has to be wired to a keyboard first. Your DVR only takes 485? I believe that dome uses 422. The KTD405 I believe outputs both. Have you tried to contact GE? -
Remote Video Monitoring Services
JMANOFNVS replied to kandcorp's topic in General Digital Discussion
Ya break down the details of what your service will provide. I would imagine it could be cctv surveillance, with various alarm sources triggering corresponding cameras to come on at your facility right? Now would your services only be for systems you installed linked via the internet or would you monitor anybodys system thats networkable? -
Remote Video Monitoring Services

A friend of mine in San Clemente works for a company called West Tech or something like that for remote monitoring and I have heard of Sentry Guard before. Are you thinking about getting into the industry? -
I have heard of flir , are they pretty good? I have only did a couple bids with thermal cams and they were really expensive. Here is there site http://www.isapusa.com/products/index.php

Its one of those oem white box specials. I think Monster got one from me to try out. We will have to see what he thinks. I like to send demos on unfamiliar products so I can see if its worth mentioning. Here is a link to one of our customers websites who actually put together a spec sheet...kinda. http://www.scdlink.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=2053

Who is the company????? The suspense is killing me!!!!

If the distance isn't to far you can get away with an inexpensive 1in 4out DA for under $100 and it would work fine. If the distance is over 1000 ft you will need to spend a little more $. If you already have the TV linked together through cable you can always modulate it and save some wiring.

Whos the manufacturer?
-
Does it work? If so you should be able to get some info on the software or like Jasper said take it apart there has to be something. It looks like a cross between a Sanyo VCR and an old DM mux.

Are you running it to a KTD 405 first?? -
I have 2 customers who have a branch out here but they are based over there but I am not sure how they are with megapixel stuff but I will ask tomorrow and let you know.
-
So you want something smaller then 1.5 inches in diameter? Mace's cam is bigger then that. I have a day night lipstick bullet but I am not sure how good it works, haven't sold alot because its white. I will hook you up tomorrow.
-
I sell alot of Genwac/Watec low light cams. Here is another inexpensive bullet http://www.ktlcctv.com/web/pdf/CPC4010EX.pdf They have a day night version with ir cut filter too. KT&C has alot of bullet and metal case board cams with exview's too.

How about this? http://www.ktlcctv.com/web/pdf/CFB2007EX.pdf

Check out this stealth little guy and tell me what you think. http://www.wateccameras.com/genwac/specs/gw300dh.htm

I carry tons of board and micro board cams, D/N, Exview and such that can be put into just about anything for covert. Fiber cams are also used alot for stealth surveillance. What did you have in mind Jasper?
-
The IR has to be above 900nm for no glow.
-
Extreme, GE, Sony, Ganz, just to name a few. Whats the application?

UUHHHH YA Sure we believe him!!! -
For the price of those domes you would think panasonic would have an external VF adj, external spot monitor out and come with both tinted and clear domes.
-
It is priced well and I sell a ton of them, but if the glare is real bad you will need something with WD capabilties.

I prefer Yoko's 33's. They look better on my truck but why not.
