  1. 02B5 shows as a IP bullet> http://www.specotech.com/index.php/products/video/cameras/ip/item/872-o2b5 02B2 is also an IP bullet http://www.specotech.com/index.php/products/video/cameras/ip/item/872-o2b5 It appears it needs 6 watts of 12v DC power in the spec sheet but in features it states that is POE is all that's required. Confused They have a great warranty. Call them.
  2. And there it is. Poster asks a question and never returns......
  3. We do Lenel Onguard and Genetec. But with a system your size maybe look at HID. They have a smart phone app to use as your credential.
  4. What is wrong with the Q6115? It's 1080p The VMS you are using determines the cameras you can use and since you didn't mention it then it's hard to make a recommendation. Avigilon's 2mp PTZ is pretty sweet. Axis Q6045 is also a 1080p camera.
  5. Going to install one of these in the next 2 weeks.

I think so. No snow balls around here! Although a hit from a football is not out of the question.

So far I like it. It has a programmed tour so time will tell how it holds up. The above the horizon feature will play a huge role in future installations. This customer has about 400 GE Legends. So go back to 2008. I replace about 2 per month. One Con is the Pan motor is fairly loud. With this camera being located so close to the public you can hear it pan if it's a high speed pan and your standing within 50 feet. It's also surprisingly small. About 1/3 the size of a Q series PTZ.

Installed the camera today. Painted to match.
  10. I have a customer that just installed one of the M3007s and is running ACC4 is why I was asking. I was hoping to use that as leverage to get him to upgrade.
  11. Just following up: Has anyone used a Axis M3007 in ACC 5.6?

There are only 2 gateway accounts. User access to cameras are set in group policies not users.

The player will be in the same location you exported the .ave files. Probably named AvigilonControlCenterPlayerStandalone-5.6.x.x

You don't need the player other than to supply with exported clips for 3rd parties to play the clips. When you export a clip in Native mode there is a checkbox to include the player.

It's human nature to resist change. I cut my teeth on ACC4. Hated ACC5 when it came out. I was assigned 2 clients with Large Genetec Security Center systems. (1500+ cameras) When I attended Genetec Training I hated everything about it and compared it to Avigilon everywhere. Now that I have gotten used to Genetec I would pick it hands down over Avigilon on a 1000+ camera system.

Yes as long as the ISCSI can perform well enough to handle the read write. We do plenty of ISCSI storage but it's on a enterprise level with 10gig connections.

Upgrades and support are free indefinitely. When they moved from the ACC4 platform to the ACC5 platform several years ago the worst case scenario was the upgrade was the price of 1 license. However if you bought 1 license that automatically qualified you for the upgrade so basically it was free. Yes adding licenses is very simple and takes less than a minute.

When you install the server software on the video recording device it installs the server as a service and also installs the client. The only management done on the server side is licenses and storage. You can also choose to install the ACC gateway which supports mobile devices and the web interface. The web interface functions exactly the same as the client and even looks the same. The ACC Gateway does not have to be installed on the server if you choose to install it on a different machine. The client software can be installed on any machine except a MAC.
