Hi all, new to the forum and hope I can find some answers here.
I recently replaced an existing DVR for one of my clients with a Geovision GV-1480A based system running software version 8.3.4.0. The GV box is setup to store the database and video on one of my NAS boxes through a drive mapping. This part works fine so far. Where I am running into trouble is on one of the workstations that needs to be able to access/playback the stored video. Now, we have been attempting to do this with the RemoteView Log application, but I cannot for the life of me find where to set the path for the database and video. Of course I can reload the database from the menu and point it to the folder, but it does not retain the setting. This is for an end user, so it really needs to be automated and foolproof. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
