Is there any viewer out there that will work with OSX?

I have the these cameras right now: http://www.avsipcctv.com/products/camera/indoor_camera/xena3d and I am about to start working on a system for a 2nd location. I am trying to find the cameras that are like these or better. By looking at the specs on the site, what are yall's thoughts? Any better cameras out there. Also how much should I expect to pay for these. I really appreciate all the help on here you guys. Just curious, since any and all store links get hidden, where do you guys buy your stuff from. I can't find anyone local, please recommend. Thanks

I am looking into buying a DVR and trying to figure out what D1 means. Been searching but maybe my combination of search words isn't pulling up anything helpful. When I asked the seller if the DVR was full D1, this was the response: 8ch D1+8ch CIF sametime Please help me understand what that means. Here is the rest of the specs on the DVR unit i'm looking at.

Wonderful, I am going to be mounting all my cameras to the ceiling so I guess this feature is really not that important for me. Thanks for the prompt and helpful response! While I'm here, I would like to ask another question: I want to install one camera right above my POS system which keeps an eye on the screen and the cash going in and out. Is there a special camera or lens that I need for this application?

is there any advantage of having 3 Axis over other dome cameras? What are the benefits? I am not whether I need 3 axis or not since I am not really sure what 3 axis is good for. Thanks

Tom how much should I expect to spend on a solid 8channel DVR that that is D1 and reliable and supports mobile viewing?

is there an installer from South Carolina on here?

this is my first post on this forum. lots of information here! I have a retail shop and I ended up using a "professional service" for dvr and cameras installed. I need to upgrade my system and I would like to go some other route besides going through him again, he just does not seem to be able to tell me about the latest and greatest. I have 8 dome cameras right now, I think they are 540TVL. I could probably use 2 more cameras....10 dome cameras in all. The DVR that I have right now says "AVS TM8 Elite+" I really can't find much information on it. NEW SYSTEM: I prefer that of the 2 new cameras be PTZ. I would like to be able to view the LIVE feed on my iPAD, the current DVR can't do that. When looking through the forums, I keep coming across Rory's posts and Dahua. Please tell me where I can buy this stuff, I understand that they have budget systems but I think its going to be more than enough for a small retail store. Thanks in advance for any and all info and support!
