  1. Thank you to both of you.... I will pull the plug and hope for the best. I'm not sure it is set to auto reboot on Sundays but I'll check this as well.
  2. I am a brand new user and NOT computer literate at all. I just followed the instructions that came with my Q-See system. I know that is NOT the system you have but I found the instructions so generic that I pass them on to you. If you read the parts about port-forwarding and follow them (including going to the website for what type of Linksys router you have) and then read the My Q-See website about obtaining a static ip address, I think you may better understand. You said you are an electrician so you most likely will see all the analogies, even though your screens will be different. You can use the My Q-See website without having their product. Read this site first: http://www.q-see.com/files/manuals/QT4%20Series%20Manual_Web.pdf Then this site: http://www.q-see.com/files/HowToFiles/T-Setting%20up%20MYQ-SEE%20DDNS.pdf Hope this helps.
  3. I know this is stupid question of the day...... I had the Q-See Model QSDS14273 8 camera system working fine for 5 days. Used the My Q-See site to obtain a static IP. It worked in the house, on outside computers and on the iPhone 4. On the 5th day it stopped working on the internet and the iPhone. Try as I might I can't figure out how to reboot the DVR. I'm not a literate computer user and have to rely on the instructions and I can't find this instruction. I was going to turn the system off, but when I chose that option a warning message came up "Are you sure you want to do this?" so I said no. Any ideas? Thanks,
