    Image chip from usb camera

    Hi, Thanks for the replys, I am trying to improve the quality of my cctv camera, i have a HD webcam and was going to take the image chip out and some how connect it to the dome camera i have. From the messages it seems i can do this but will be a bit fidly, will try now in the days ahead and post some pictures. Nice one.
  2. Hi all, Just wondering if it is possible to transfer an image chip from a HD web cam to a dome camera, i have opened it all up and seems to look ok to do, just asking those in the no that would know. Thanks.

  5. Yes - i have just loaded the softwear, so if i purchase an - X OVER CAT5e cable i should view the camera image on this softwear on my pc. am i right saying this. Cheers.
  6. soundy, Nice one for info, lastly - when i purchase the cross over cable would this show up in my pc menu under my computer as an external drive, sorry to ask what may seem a silly question as i am not pc tech minded. Cheers.
  7. soundy, Many thanks for that. tomcctv, How would i get hold of one of these cross over cables, i only really want to view the image through my p.c., i cant really use softwear with internet as i have no net connection as yet. Cheers.
