    Generic DVR's

    Hello, I have a client who purchased Sanyo Cameras and a Generic DVR. When I plug everything in and than power up, the cameras are displayed for a brief 5 seconds and than they shut off. Just guessing but could it be that Sanyo Cameras are only compatible with Sanyo DVR's/DVR Software? Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards, Chris.

    I would suggest turning off your DMZ. Does your router have the option to turn on DDNS? that can help you greatly.
