Geovision sells a mobile DVR that is ready to install into a car. It has anti vibration mounts, a remote, runs on dc (you will need to install it behind a fuse and so forth). Purchase the cameras and hard drive separately depending on your needs. I don't know if you can get one directly from them or if you have to go through a distributor. You can PM me if you want and I'll price you one. We install these on school buses.

Hey guys. I'm new to CCTV and wanted to introduce myself and ask a simple question. The company I work for currently builds enterprise server solutions, but has decided to move into the CCTV market. As I currently work in sales, it will now be my job to move digital surveillance solutions. I do not like to sell anything I am not an expert on and wanted to know where I can find the most comprehensive and complete information on CCTV; from the basics to advanced information. It is also important that this information be recent. If you guys could recommend a site, or a book, or something of that nature I would be immensely appreciative. I just graduated college and therefore am familiar with teaching myself, so I am not interested in taking any classes. Thanks in advance. -KAGE
