Right, the dome is a little dirty. However you can see the big horizontal noise on the bottom and top. Any electrical sources near the camera's cable? Parallel A/C cable? To troubleshoot, the cheap choice is 24 volt power . There's an exterior light by the camera, but when the lights off the noise is still there. I'll try the 24volt perhaps then, but I'm still not really impress with the night quality though.

So I recently installed a new dome camera and then someone broke into my fiances car the other night. The suspect was driving that car and its not really a great shot. The camera is having some digital noise issues and is not really clear at night. I currently have the CMD3270DW Dome camera from LT Security. It appears to have some digital noise issue and I sent tihs picture to a LT tech support, they asked if I was using a 12 volt line and I said yes. They told me to switch it to 24AC and it should solve the problem. What do you guys think? Maybe try a different camera? Do you recommend the powered or just passive ethernet-coax adaptors? All the camera lengths are no more than 300ft.

I have a client who owns a small casino, he currently has approximately 100 analog cameras and wants to upgrade all the game table cameras to high definition (15 cameras approximately). I was looking into HDCCTV as an alternative to IP surveillance, its a fairly small casino so no more than 300ft per camera. Anybody installed HDCCTV surveillance before? I've looked into SG Digital and they seem to have a fairly cheap pricing than other companies. It'd be nice so I can just replace his current analog cameras with HDCCTV and with a HD DVR Recorder instead of running new wires for IP.

I believe they only need 7 days of retention on all cameras, however big jackpot deals/wins has to be kept for at least 30 days but they can probably just save that on a disc or something. I just looked at our State requirements on Casino surveillance on digital, there has to be a minimum of 25/FPS but most cameras I see that are 3MP only run like at 22/FPS. I guess choose 2MP cameras and run at 30FPS then? Or any recommendation on a particular system?

My primary distributor is LTS Security based in California. A lot of my customers prefer to purchase DIY kits and get the lowest price since that always matters to them, otherwise theyll move on and find someone else with a cheaper price. Although the bigger corporations - or a casino project I'm currently working on won't be getting LTS products...

You would need to port forward in order view your cameras remotely. Supercam will work on LTS products. I beleive the mobile port is 100.

Hello everyone, I am new to network surveillance, I primarily own a security patrol company and offer some cctv security products on the side to our clients. One of my clients who owns a small casino had asked me he wants to upgrade his existing analog cameras to all megapixel cameras. Any suggestions to which systems would fit this best for this type of low light indoor environment? He stated he currently has 20 cameras, I believe 5-10 of them are PTZ and the rest stills. He has two PTZ controllers, and two small monitors which two security guys monitor and a big screen for an overview of all the cameras. He also said he currently has a 100TB system, and wants about the same size in the new system.. I've looked around at Geovision and currently talking to Aventura, anything good about them or any recommendations? Thanks, Vincent

Hello, I am seeking suggestions on how to improve my current set up at my residence. I own a small security guard company and I have two marked patrol cars parked in the street I want to keep a close eye on. I have a 4 dome IR camera set up at home with the two cameras in front. All cameras are the LTS Brand [MODEL: LTCMD719] Specs Below. * 1/3" Color Sony Super HAD CCD * 540 TV Lines * 36 IR * 2.8mm~10mm * Metal Case * Dual Voltage Supported * 3-Axis and the 4CH LTS DVR [LTD7904] currently set up to D1 7FPS recording or other option CIF 30FPS. I'm pleased with the playback of of the camera footage during the day, however reviewing playback footage at night time is not too great. Clarity of individuals walking up to my driveway and people looking into my patrol cars is not very easily identifiable, basically it would look like a stick figure walking across the screen. I need suggestions on possible different cameras or any other suggestions? I heard about the True Day & Night cameras? Here's a photo of the front of my home with the camera placements labeled.
