Hi Guys, are there any camera wizards out there that can help with the following:
I purchased a wireless Sentient colour cctv cam from Maplin, great camera but a very narrow field of view. I decided to fit a wide-angle lens, it worked and gave a fantastic field of view. But when I came to reassemble the unit I discovered that the new wide lens wouldn't allow the circular infra red circuit board into its old position in the cam. Making the best of a bad job, I decided to remove the IR illumination completely, and so removed the red,black,white, and yellow wires. The camera is now dead.
I'm now wondering if I can couple those wires together so the camera (thinks) the IR unit is in place..? I know the camera isn't damaged, it's just got no power.
Help anybody.....?
