I also have three canon cameras. The software for operating the cameras is not the best. It makes following movement a jerky experience. I made the mistake of assuming that the cameras would have joystick capable operations. I would not recommend the canon cameras without some sort of fix from canon that allows for joystick control.
I have three canon cameras. I too want a joystick for controlling the cameras. The canon software to control the cameras is marginal and provides a choppy image as the camera follows the subject. If I had know this at the time I purchased the cameras I would have gone with Sony cameras.
I have a friend who developed an app fora iPhone to control the canon cameras from the iPhone. I have him working on joystick software for the canon cameras. I am hopping he can do the same for the joystick control
Has anyone had image freezing problems, then jumping ahead, with Canon VB-C60 security camera? The camera was repaired and the problem reappeared 3 weeks later.
