    I'm sorry, I don't understand what you have written here. Think about a standard DVD player that upscales a standard DVD to 1080p. It will not be any improvement on the image quality just 720x480 made into 1920x1080 or whatever the actual numbers are, but hopefully you get my point. If that is what is happening with this camera of course.
