[help] DVR >> RCA >> TV = GOOD; DVR >> VGA >> MONITOR = BAD

when I connect the DVR to TV through RCA connector it's good, i can access the DVR's menu but, when I connect the DVR to Monitor through VGA connector it's bad, i can't access the DVR's menu, just can view from the monitor, but can't access the DVR's menu. Anyone can help? -
[help] display/monitor/lcd, the display is "cutted"

the channel picture/video, is "bigger" than the monitor/lcd, so it's like "cuted" ==> the grey one in my illustration, it's anyone can fix this problem?
