Awhile back I watched this episode of CSI NY. Int he beginning of the clip, a deceased robber is found with LEDs surrounding his neck. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/csi_ny/video/?pid=_UV6DCG6wyTobdwptt0NOKmDYQTJIKj3 In the plot of the story a team of robbers bust into a penthouse and are able to obscure their identities from the security camera because of the LEDs they wear around their necks. Is that even possible or science fiction?

Hi- I have been a bit nervous since there has been news of some burglaries in my area. I live in an apartment and I am thinking of getting some type of camera installed in case someone breaks in. Now I know having a security camera does not mean 100% safety or is a deterrent. But I would just like to have something just in case. My budget is small. I could probably stretch it up to $300. I have heard that IP cameras are probably a good bet.
