  1. Have you looked at QCam Pro? I'm not positive, but I think it might do what you want.
  2. I'm using it at home, recording to a PC for backup. It's been working so well I'm thinking of turning off the PC.
  3. I'd like to know if they added the function to turn off the IR in night mode.
  4. Thanks for the video. I would have thought there might have been some condensation after the dish washer test. Was the test done with hot water? Thankyou again for taking the time to make the video.
  5. How about the Axis P8221? It's not USB, it's Ethernet. http://www.axis.com/en/products/cam_p8221/index.htm
  6. I think it might be this. rtsp://IPADDRESS:7070/ Kenny
  7. I think right now the software records one video stream from the camera full time and makes bookmarks based on the rules you have setup. I like the idea of doing the processing/motion detection on D1 stream, and then recording the higher resolution stream. Any idea how Sighthound/Vitamin D and Axxon Next compare when it comes to CPU usage?
  8. I think I've been using Vitamin D with my cameras since 2011, but the lack of updates and some features has made me start looking at other software. This weekend I noticed that http://www.vitamindinc.com redirects to http://www.sighthoundlabs.com. Has anyone here tried the beta?
  9. I don't have an answer, but I am interested in what you find out.
  10. Have you tried Security Spy? http://www.bensoftware.com/securityspy/
  11. I wish that the developers of VitaminD would update the software to work with cameras that have resolutions higher than 1280 x 1024. It's great software, but hasn't really seen any major updates in ages. SecuritySpy http://www.bensoftware.com/securityspy/ is another choice for Mac OSX software.
  12. Welcome to the forum! Can you tell us what model Mac Mini you have? Is it a dual core or quad core? I don't think there is a version of Blue Iris that runs natively on the Mac, will you be using bootcamp with a Windows partition? Will you be using the internal drive or an external drive for the camera recordings?
  13. +1 for IP Camera Viewer Pro by Robert Chou. It works great and the app is updated regularly to support new cameras.
  14. I'm guessing that the lower cost comes from the fixed lens and the camera being based on the M30 platform instead of the P33 platform.
