  1. it can be done. multiple cameras on one cat 5- 4 pairs = 4 cameras. but think about what you will have to do if and when one camera goes out, or new cable needs to be run. I would say for less headache down the road run a cat5 for each camera.

Good day everyone [newbie from Davao,Philippines]

hello, yes just type http://192.168.1.199 (example) your local (LAN) IP into your Internet explorer toolbar.
  3. Hello there, Im sure plenty of people have their ECO4's online for remote viewing. Not with luck either I think DM's DVR's need more than 1 port for remote viewing. I could be wrong though..check the manual their DVR should come with one, or try the tech support. If their product is with the $800 going for 4ch 40GB DVRs (whats that like 1 day of video) ... Their tech support should be able to answer your questions. I'm sure you have more and they will just Looove you

    Mounting cameras with exposed wiring

Thank you i've done the same with dome cameras. Sounds like the best solution, and like I said not uncommon at all. Painting them to match the walls/ceilings will make it nicer, I would recommend it.

    Mounting cameras with exposed wiring

Gang box camera mount is not uncommon. Serves a good purpose when you need to tuck power connections, and or video baluns.
  7. Yes WireGuy I do. Do you have something to say
  8. I'm wording it wrong I guess, I know the DVR/NVR is supporting the input... how about we help this guy out. I'm just commenting on equipment I know and I know ICRealtime has a nice product and does everything and more that this man is looking for.
  9. I understand this but are you saying sanyo can support icrealtime,CNB, or anything other than Sanyo? Im leaving Axis out of this one cause they are a decoding giant.
  10. Aren't most if not all brands only supporting their own equip..
  11. Here he goes again pushing exacq You already said this buddy. He's still asking about the 2 DVRs. ICRealtime has a Hybrid DVR that can store 16TB max (8 2TB HD's). You can also add in 4 MP or IP cams plus the 16 CHs of analog cams. So total of 20 cams.

Does anyone know what DVR this is?

http://postimage.org/image/kc0wemkk/ fixed it for you. also can you get a serial # or anything off the unit? check underneath or even remove the lid and get some info.
  13. ICRealtime > ProVision you will be happy with your Product and support they offer.

Good day everyone [newbie from Davao,Philippines]

Welcome. Most ISP's will not allow their public IP to be accessed from the internal. Meaning if you are on their network you must use the internal 192.168.1.__ that the DVR has. Try that internal IP the DVR has when onsite.

issues with a ir dome camera

    Can you post a scrrenshot
  16. You not being a fan of ICREALTIME because a sales man not correctly spec'ing a camera or saying a camera was HD quality is kind of stupid. IMO. Sales guys much like installers don't know half the crap they are selling/installing, and that's a fact. So back to the guys question which of the 2 units is best. OP can you give some more response to what you're trying to get from your system? I have posted some similarities and like wire guys stated you will have to use their HD SDI cams so keep that in mind.

issues with a ir dome camera

The problem doesn't sound like its IRs side the blinding is happening in the day correct? Most likely the glare from windows and or paint is reflecting highly on the cam and can't focus. Like you stated these are not outdoor cams. My advice is to get some Outdoor day night cams that are made to handle natural light conditions
  18. Hello, what would be "best machine" functions or abilities for your job. The Provision looks beneficial if you have purchased or will purchase 1 or 2 1080p cameras to record highest res. On those 2 channels. The max HD is pretty low on it though only 6TB internal. The ICRealtime 16D30 is not a hybrid though so keep that in mind when comparing. ICRealtime does however carry a 20ch hybrid DVR that does 16 analog and 4 IP or MegaPixel cam's. Back to comparing .. The 16D30 can store 16TB without a burner or 12TB with a burner. I would opt for without side you can backup to flash drive anyway and then get more HD's. Pentaplex on both, 16ch audio in on both, BNC,VGA,HDMI on both, Both have 1920x1080 output. What are some of the key points on the machine you will utilize. I've never dealt with pro vision DVR's but I have used ICRealtime equipment, they are top notch and so is their support. ( yes from time to time techs need support too) I would try to log into a demo of each DVR see which one you like and controls best for you. I know ICrealtime has a few demos you can log into, check them out and get back to us. Enjoy

That's a huge mic. Surely you can find smaller ones that perform just as good.

    cameras randomdly shutting down

Very very possible Campbell is right. MP cams require a lot of upload bandwidth if your network isn't putting out at least 1mb per channel than yes very very likely this is a bandwidth problem. Run a free speed test on site. Www.speedtest.net
