Howdy,
I've been trying to get in touch with Digital Watchdog for 2 weeks now and have had zero luck, so I figured I'll go ask the people that do this for a hobby/living, they seem to know more than the manufactures anyhow . Anyhow, I have 3 iv3377's (poe) around the house. I currently am using Pivot 1.6 (came with the cams) to view/monitor/record, which all work perfect.
I recently began to tinker more and noticed the cams have motion detection, so naturally I wanted to play. I turned on MD in each cameras web based controls and designated the "trigger" windows. I then told Pivot to record 24/7 on motion detection only. Well, it's not working. I can blatently enter the "trigger" zone with no recursive measures taken by the cams. There is nothing online or in the manual to aid me in the correction of a possible problem nor hints on any forums that would suggest it shouldn't work. So, what might I be doing wrong?
