Hi, I am trying to locate someone who performs firmware upgrades, or provides upgraded firmware chips (not for a ridiculous amount of $$$), for an American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8. I am using the outdoor housing, and apparently I'm using a legacy board because I'm having heater/fan problems associated with the problems described in firmware upgrade 1.16 http://www.americandynamics.net/WebApps/getDocument.aspx?filename=TB-00132-00-07121-Web_Relse_frmwre_1.16_SDU8.pdf . I would really like to buy a whole replacement I/O board because I think a couple of my pins may be faulty, causing the issues, but I can not figure out whether or not its ok to order one of these older Ultra Outdoor Housing I/O boards (I don't know if they are all compatible, since there are new model numbers now). Oh, and I'm also looking for a replacement outdoor bubble (preferrably smoked), but I haven't found one anywhere for under a $100. Any ideas? Thanks so much guys, I'm glad I found this forum.
