ive run into..

I use a different port, run up in like port 8050, or some odd number. ones around port 80 or 90, 2000, many times are blocked by internet providers. or used by some thing like Snipe, or ????
.
other funny thing, is you usualy can not Access a remote address from (inside) that network.
I always have to call my office and have some one try logging into the site im working on.
also adding the port to your login address many times works
in you web browser.
(example) not a real address...
you would put like ( http://66.222.44.44:8050 )
of course replacing your Ip address. and what ever port you chose.
