I've been using Fat32format on a Windows XP machine.
This Western Digital drive is a brand new 160GB. Every time I try it the DS2a stalls and won't
boot. This even happens if I have a Maxtor as the master and the WD as a slave.
I could of sworn that I used Western Digital in the past on a DM unit and it worked.
Back then I used to boot up a PC with a windows 98 floppy boot disk and use FDISK to
make the primary partition on the drive. This takes a long time though.
It is bugging me that it doesn't work so when I have a chance I will try doing
the FDISK that way to see if it works.
Thanks,
tetek
