Hey everyone, for those of you who might be using Tenda routers that connect to your DVR for port forwarding, you might like to have a few key details that will save you time on your installation. The reason I choose Tenda most of the time is the cost is very good only about $20 bucks US and it has a Bridging function that allows you to use them like an Access Point. This I find comes in handy when I need to extend the internet coverage in a home or business and then connect IP cams or Wireless IP cams to the router. If you want to connect the routers as a bridge, You DO NOT Select Bridge function in the Gui menu under advanced options. Make sure you place it in Router Function. Then make sure you select TCP and UDP for port forwarding. Hope this helps.
