I'm looking to replace a current 16 channel DVR that's died in a hotel installation with another model for around $1,000 or less. I'd like to ask that anyone that wouldn't mind, weigh in on their preferred brands/makes/models that would fit within my budget. I'm definitely no DVR expert, so I'd like to get some more "professional" advice. I've read through quite a few forum posts on here and done a little research; here are the models that I am currently considering. Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I bite the bullet and come to a decision on a certain model. Ok, I think I've narrowed down my previous list to either the CNB HDS4824 or a Dahua model (due to the numerous positive comments on this forum for the Dahua brand). The other issue I'm having now is finding an online retailer that sells the Dahua brand. I can't seem to find any online and therefore can't compare features/pricing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What does everyone think; CNB vs. Dahua?
