I want to add two wireless IP cameras to our house that is under construction. These cameras would be outdoors but under large eaves. I prefer the look of a dome camera. I was thinking of trying to mount the foscam FI 8909W in an outdoor dome housing. This is foscam's smaller wirless ip camera. Dimensions are 3.9 x 1.5 x 2.3 inches. Has anyone done this? If so which model dome housing did you use. Would I be better off just going with one of the foscam models that are made for outdoor use? These are not dome cameras, they are larger. THanks for the advice. I am a total novice at this.

Great suggestions. I am running cat6 wires to the cameras anyway for power. I have heard you can use one wire for power and video using baluns. I would like an ip camera that has web based viewing / controls. Anu suggestions on good outdoor dome cameras that are $100-200 each?
