  1. Hi guys, Wasnt sure if this needs to go in camera section or CCTV box section. so apologies if its in the wrong place. I have a OYN-X Kestrel 5MP CCTV box with 4 analogue cameras and 2 IP cameras (wanscan). The box itself works great and I am very happy with it but I cannot for the life of me work out how to get motion detection on the IP cams. The little checkbox is greyed out so I cannot enable it. The analogue ones work flawlessly. Manufacturers say that the box does do motion detection for the IP cams but have no idea why it doesnt work in my case. To be clear the IP cams all work fine bar the motion detection option. I have tried enabling and disabling motion on the cameras themselves. reinstalling them all to no avail. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received! Thanks

    I suspected the camera motion would interfere. I will double check whether its onvif or rtsp. Thanks

    Got it working over the internet but it cannot get it to work over the local network. Any ideas?

    CnM Secure 4 Channel H.264 DVR

    Hi Guys, I've had my CnM for a good few months now and only got around to connecting it to my network for viewing downstairs in my office (CCTV Box is upstairs) and I finally managed to get it working with IE9 thanks to the helpful post from CnM a little higher up the thread. Only problem I now have is that I can't see any video feeds, the 4 screens are there but there's no video playing on them and when I go to playback to view pre recorded stuff there is also no video playback even though it's defintiely playing something as I can see the progress slider at the bottom of the screen moving. Is this a codec issue or something else as I have K-Lite codec pack installed which should sort most things. btw I can playback video fine if I'm directly using the box and the Network traffic light on the box is flashing like mad when I try to remotely view/playback anything downstairs. Ideas? TIA EDIT: Tried creating an admin password so I could log in as admin, exactly the same no video.
