    SOS 400S remote agent

    SIR, I have tried connecting directly to the PC with the help of cross cable and through Switch also but there is error message coming up saying ''Cannot connect to server by any reason ". I checked up the connection by pinging the DVR ,i am able to receive pinging packets on to my PC ,meaning that the physical connectivity is fine . But when i press the connect icon i get this message " Cannot connect to the server by any reason" . I found in the "manual" that in the PASSWORD menu there is a NETWORK PASSWORD OPTION , but when i see the menu in the DVR there is no such "Network Password" option ,how to know that the DVR Networking Part is at Fault. Please help me out With Regards Stephen
  2. Sir, I am Stephen from INDIA, HELLO EVERYBODY. I have connected the DVR model PDI 400S, everything is working perfect as far as in the DVR is concerned,but when it comes to networking the DVR ,i am not able to network the DVR model PDI 400S with remote agent software version 2.0 which has come along with the DVR nor with 2.4 which i downloaded. The DVR SOFTWARE information is 2.3.0.0 ENC whereas the HARDWARE Version is 0.0.0.5 . I am able to ping the DVR from the Remote PC in which the remote agent software ver 2.0 is installed ,as far as the connectivity is concerned there is no problem. Any one who are having dvr remote agent software version 1.0 please mail me ,and help me out of this situation. The Software which was supplied along with the DVR has simillar looks as downloaded version 2.4, so i am into this forum.
