  1. Hi guys, We have a bunch of Dahua DVRs installed at a client's site. All of them have the exact same configuration and HDD brand (one of the recommended by Dahua), yet we get very little recording time from about 20% of them (20 days against over 100 days, because they all have 2 2TB HDD). Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here? Regards, CER
  2. Hi Guys, First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I have some Dahua DVRs (1604HF) and I seem unable to change the FPS and resolution settings. As soon as I change them and reboot the system, they change back to their default values. Since it is happening with more than one unit, I believe we may be making a mistake in saving the configuration setting, but seem unable to figure it out. Thanks!
  3. Hi Guys, I have a client that has RASplus software installed from a previous installer. We are supplying new DVRs and cameras for several locations. The previous vendor used brand label DVRs. Is RASplus software compatible with any DVR/capture card, or is there a list of compatible equipment available anywhere? Thanks!

    RASplus compatible

Thanks for your response. I am still unclear... is there any list on RASplus compatibility? I have plenty of suppliers, but none of them know the software. Regards
  5. I have just completed the installation of a small analog system for a client. The cameras are in a gated residential community, some in the entrance area, and the rest all through the common areas including tennis court, kids' play area, etc. Now my client is asking me for a time control of user access, which the software in the DVR doesn't provide. Anyone know of a reasonable solution? Thanks!

    Greetings

Hello, I have been a long time fan of this forum. Thought it was about time to stop trolling and start participating. Not a complete newbie, but certainly more questions than answers!
  7. That might be the best idea. Thanks for your input!
  8. Hi Tom, Thanks for your reply. Maybe I need to explain myself better. The client doesn't want to control access at certain times, but instead control de length of the sessions (e.g. 15 minutes tops). I believe the time control feature in most routers deals with absolute time bands (like from 2-4pm or something). Tks!
