I am looking for a system with 8 cameras. I brought in couple companies and they want about $3,000 -$4,000 and I don't even know what the quality would be. This would be for residential home. I had an ADT 4 camera system unit installed for $1200. IT SUCKED! So I don;t want the same thing happening in my home. would like a DAY and Night system and I would like to be able to see people's faces and not only that its a guy and maybe their race. Maybe to see a license plate as well. I know there is HD, 1080, 700 Line.... Whole bunch of stuff that I dont get. THANKS!!
