I just got a Lorex 8 channel DVR. I am using continuous recording however, I would like to utilize the alarm block on the back of the DVR to trigger events, and send out email notifications.
I know very little about alarm wiring and was wondering if anyone could help me understand how to wire this.
The goal is to wire two motion detectors to the DVR and have them trigger a bell/siren
I will also have it send an email configured via the software.
The back of the panel as an alarm block that reads:
D+ D- G NO COM NC G1 14 3 12 11
The specification of the unit are listed as:
Alarm IN 4 x TTL, programmable as NC/NO
Alarm Out 1 x Relay with NO/NC contact
PTZ control By Terminal connector (RS485) Bookmark Archiving Supported

I have attached an diagram of the back. How would I go about wiring this. I am not sure what each letter mean. I understand NO and NC, I assume D+ and D- and 12V+ and 12V- and G is ground ?
