  1. I've got 4 Geovision GV-BL320D bullet cams running on a PC-based system. These are IP cameras using Power over Ethernet and the PC is running GV-NVR to display & record. One of these cameras has failed and I want to source a replacement, but I don't want another GV-BL320D because: They're expensive & I don't want to shell out another $800, even though it's been a great camera. They don't seem to be available in Australia anymore anyway. Here's the question: Can I add just any IP camera to this system, or does it have to be Geovision? Furthermore, if anyone knows where I can get this camera repaired, that would be very helpful
  2. Can anyone help with a download link for GV-DVR/NVR 8.5.6 ? Geovision don't respond to requests & my archived version of the previous software is corrupt. Thanks in advance
  3. I've got a bunch op GV-BL110D cameras working vey nicely on my LAN. Now I want to access them remotely & thought I'd start via web browser. I've set up port-forwarding & get to the login screen for each camera no problem. Enter credentials and it brings up the Live View screen, then after a few seconds displays "Can't connec to server" Any ideas?

    GeoVison DVR no video

OK, I was jumping the gun. Now found that its not enough to discover the cameras, you have to assign them positions.
  6. Hi, all. I've just installed DVR (my first IP cam system), and it doesn't show any vidoe feeds. I have a couple of Geovision Bullet cams up & running & I can log onto them directly form a web browser, so I know they're OK. When I ran the DVR installer I selected the Setup Type of GV-NVR. I don't know if this was the right thing to do. DVR starts and finds my cameras, but no video. Any suggestions?

    Monitoring GeoVison IP Bullet Cams

Thanks, guys. You've been a lot of help, unlike Geovision
  9. I've just got 3 GeoVision GV-BL110D IP bullet cameras. I've attached them to my network & set IP addresses. Can view their streams through a web browser OK. I want to see them all in an app that will let me selectively view, record & play back. There is an app included with the cams called DMMultiView (that's the name on the installed icon) AKA GeoVision Multi View, according to the installer. When I launch this app it wants a username & password. No idea what to use there. admin/admin, admin/password, anthing else I can think of, doesn't work and there is ZERO documentsation on the CD. Web searches turn up plenty of manuals but nothing about the initial logon. My first venture into IP CCTV world, & I'm lost. Any takers?
