Hi! Thank you for replying. My filter isn't mechanical, so I don't think taping the sensor or the camera will correct the problem If I put the filter back on, the camera won't see in the dark at all.(that's why I removed the filter)

Hello all I have a PIR hidden cctv cmos camera in the basement and an external 30 IR Illuminator. The camera can see in the dark like any other cctv camera with ir leds Today I received a "same"( as I thought) camera, which I had bought from ebay 1 month ago. The problem is that the new camera can not see in the dark.I thought it had an ir cutter so i removed the filter from the cmos sensor. Now the camera sees in the dark but the picture is purple!!! Like this video(random video) I don't understand.How one camera sees in the dark fine(black and white) and the other one sees purple. It must be something with the ir filter but I am not sure what. What filter does the old camera use? Thank you

Hello, I know this is an ancient post but I need some help. I want to install cameras inside my home with hidden PIR cameras. But I want also to have the benefit of the night vision but without the red glow. I build a 20pieces LED Bulb Board with 950nm leds but I had no luck. It is very short rage (less than 2 meters) Is there any other way to do that? I have seen this video (I am not advertising) where theuse 940nm leds

Indeed... I think the best solution is to install a new camera just for the dvr. Thank you all

The house is from 2003. In order to open the camera I have to press the third button or someone ring by bell. This means that it doesn't sends video signal all the time? thank you

Is there any way so I can found out this? I opened my intercom and I saw 4-5 cables and one larger cable (like TV cables). I tried connecting this larger cable with a bnc and then with a bnc cable to my dvr but I had no picture.

Hello! Everything was working good with my AVC until one day. When i tried to login with the VideoViewer program I got the message Iligal user. Then I tried to connect with the internet explorer localy(192.168.1.10) and it says ERROR: Authentication error I haven't change any passwords.I have the defaults. Admin and 0000 I cant either login through eagleeys on my iphone. I have tried resseting factory default but no luck What's is the problem? It's crazy Also I am looking for firmware upgrade in Avtech site and I can't find anything!! Do you have any link? Thank you!!
