    G4-4000 or AVR-400

Both are stable systems, well designed. The SDVR-4000 has a bit friendlier user interface.

    How does this DVR look

It's a very good one for the price.

    DVR Question

Right, it would have been nice if you could download the remote client from the web server, before it loads the ActiveX thing.

    Anykeeper 2016 Remote IE viewing?

It's not possible when using a router. You must use the remote client software.

    DVR Question

The second one is from: http://www.tomtech.co.kr/english/product/product.php?cg1=1&cg2=2 It has a web server built-in, and seems like a good product.
  6. yeah, heh The beginning of this topic is from last year...

    Intellicam

the CPcam dvr is an AVTech one.
  8. Already quite off topic, but Rory, there's no problem with the BlueNet video server, or its' ActiveX control. It's one of the best MJpeg based video servers. It's made by Cynix, Kroea. I'm sourcing quite a lot of them, and got the SDK if you're interested... Intellicam did a nice implementation of an Argus standalone dvr with this video server.

    Apec CCTV ADR-411U

Yes, it's a nice dvr. They are basically all the same with a few modifications. 120fps is for multiplexed display, while recording goes 30fps total. This one is Taiwanese, and is stable. There's a version with motion detection, which is quite useful.

Exview based cameras are prone to develop dead pixels over time even while not in use.

yeah, it's probably an older version of the card. you'll need older driver and application. check your PM.
  12. GE bought a Taiwanese manufactuer named Kampro 2 years ago. Most of GE's cameras are manufactured by them. They still oem to other companies, probably by earlier contracts, or the absence of "conflict of interests". But these are no secrets...

    Dual Hard Drives with DVR

Digiflower has the option to add multiple partitions to dvr's storage. Drive spanning is not recommended for this matter, although possible on XP.

    Dual Hard Drives with DVR

Why would you need the server to see both as one? You can usually add more than one partition to save the video to.

    Internet viewing using anykeeper

This shouldn't happen unless: - The main application is not running while you try to connect. - Something is blocking the connection. I would guess it's a software firewall. As for your try of port forwarding, it won't go with the AnyKeeper. No way to get the web based viewing interface, unless your modem is connected directly to the dvr computer. You will have to use the Remote Client. You should forward port 8013 (Default, but can be changed in settings) on the router to same port on the dvr computer. Anyway, you should pass the first stage first, but you'll get to it eventually. Good luck

    DVR Web Servers and routers

It's a known problem with AnyKeeper. Just as you've noticed, remote used ports varies, so there isn't a simple solution for that. I personally was not able to make it work, but I've heard that it's possible by forwarding a wide range of ports. No such issue with MagicRadar though.
