Anyone know anything about Anykeeper?
loop replied to MattVidionics's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
If you'll wait long enough the recording should stop eventually. Make sure to select "uncompressed". If this doesn't work, you probably have some problem with your computer, not with the software. -
It's a very nice product hermin. Very useful for hidden camera surveillance tasks.
-
PM me with the color when brain revives.
-
you can find more information about the product here: http://www.eecs.com.tw/english/product/product_video_pv330_en.htm
-
The manufacturer is Misumi (Taiwan), and the model is PV330. http://www.misumi.com.tw/NPS.ASP

Thank you both for your replies. I haven't used anythning else than coaxial cables for installation, so if you can link or provide more information about those cables, and what makes them good for the task.
-
The PCB is the board itself. What color is it?
-
which color is the PCB? The model number should be on a sticker on the back of the card.

Poor pre-order support from this manufacturer. Asked them for a demonstration after installing their remote client, and got half answers at the begining, and no reply later. They have newer models than VG4C-XP now. http://www.vguard.net

Thank you Cooperman, got the idea.

I'm looking for a 2 channel video switcher that switches between the 2 channels when triggered by its' relay input. I'm trying to use 5 cameras on a 4 channel video server that has a relay output. Any help appreciated.
-
Thanks, but PIP is not an option for me. As far as regular switchers, they don't seem to have a relay, so I don't see how can I remotely trigger it to switch between channels.

I think it won't be cheap, because of the platform. Just looked at something similar yesterday: http://www.longintech.com/en/prod.php Don't know any of them though. I've heard that Sunnel (china) seems to produce a good mobile dvr.

Systems with sophisticated motion detection
loop replied to loop's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Found onethat claims to have sophisticated motion detection: huperDVR NetVision Did anyone use it? Their website is down: http://www.huperlab.com/ But info can be found here: http://www.ccsgcorp.com/ -
The camera is Korean. You can try email this company about it: www.sambo91.co.kr You'll find it under IR Cameras, but according to their price list, I doubt they manufacture it.

Does anyone knows who manufactures them?

Best Mainboard for Kodicom
loop replied to pingsquare's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Try Windows 2000. -
You have a sharp vision rory Active-tek sells naked dvr boards as well, so I assume it's their board.
-
excellent price.
-
I think 8/16 channel dvr's are not in production yet, but should be ready on this quarter.

Best Mainboard for Kodicom
loop replied to pingsquare's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
According to Kodicom, the best are boards based on Intel chipsets. According to my expirience, best value and performance boards for most dvr cards, are based on SiS 651/661 chipsets (Onboard VGA). If you intend to plug more than 8 cameras to the card, use an ATI display board (Radeon 7000 64MB will be enough), Pentium 4 processor, and 512MB of memory are recommended. -
It's Active-Tec (Intellix). http://www.active-tek.com/jun/HtmlPro/product1-1eng.htm One of the distributors (in Canada I think): http://www.hananet.com/standalone/aboutstandalone.php I will order a sample next month.

btw hermin, Inteliican is selling some nice products like the BlueNet video servers and network cameras, which are great products (I distribute them in Israel) , and they also carry the Nadatel dvr that was recommended by dvrexpert(australia:)). Their prices are reasonable as well.

You can use GSpot to determine the codec used. http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

I'm looking for a solution for around 100 IP Cameras / Video Servers that will be scattered around 100 shops (1 camera for each shop) and could be monitored all together from 1 central location. Recording is not required. The solutions I found so far are: Flexwatch http://www.flexwatch.com/products/fwmanager.asp WebEye http://www.webgateinc.com/wg_htdocs/english/products/sw_cam_manager.html Anyone has comments over those two? Any other solution? TIA
