I was more or less looking for the software but its been hard to track down

I have a problem. Im trying to setup a Luxor dvr for remote access and the install cd that came with the system has been lost. Ive contacted Luxor support for help. But according to the tech i spoke with the software was lost when the offices the software was lost from point a to point b. This is a older dvr so this is not available from the help website... Any suggestions short of buying a new dvr would be helpful
