  1. I shoot for 80, that is a pretty good picture. It depends what you are trying to do, if it's the neighbor's kid 40 may be adequate...Best is to get two cams one wide, the other on a spot where people always walk through (door etc).
  2. long time lurker here. recently bought a axis p1344 to use. thinking of buying some more, but first wondered if others had experience with different software. this is a home application, but i don't mind spending the money to get it right have played thus far with a milestone demo and axis camera station demo. axis solution works great but is expensive and not quite perhaps as much capability as milestone. both seem to require windows 7 pro. are there other solutions i should consider? i want to be able to do audio also on the cameras, which works well with both of the above.
