Hardware factory reset for DVR?
joseph.chen0312 replied to hawkinau's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hello, You do not worry, you just down load at the root USB flash, then plug and searching upgrade at central management and to go. -
I think best solution is upgrade DVR to 960H(WD1) DVR which affordable recording 700tvl resolution. And you point out good question for is there transmitter is able to support. As I know it as same as DVR, it needs to upgrade WD1 otherwise it may caused abberation. As for Hybrid solution for IP+Analog or SDI+Analog, I think you could finding out some good brand from Korea. But you better guge the longest distance between DVR and camera at this premises. HD-SDI transmission is upto 100 M via RG-59U, 150M via RG-6 but if you do not prefer to old pipeline, it may only 50% distance compare with new one.

how do i setup my dvr and cameras
joseph.chen0312 replied to wkdwrx's topic in General Digital Discussion
I mean now has developing new type of DVR for 960H CCD(WD1) which is dedicated to WD1 resolution. Becasue point is DVR is affordable WD1 resolution as for output display resolution slight issue. Becasue I have see some 700tvl at normal D1 DVR even lower all picture is blurry and distorted. -

You better check TV systems to make sure its match your camera. If its decent you could trying reload new firmware again. Sometimes if firmware is not complete upload it will becoming weird. -
how do i setup my dvr and cameras
joseph.chen0312 replied to wkdwrx's topic in General Digital Discussion
May I suggest my view of point, in the light of you descripted you deployed all 700tvl camera, I guess those is utilized SONY 960H CCD, basically we call its WD1 because you could compare which horizon effective pixel with D1. then you would finding why. You better upgrade DVR to 960H(WD1) dedicated DVR then I assume this issue will being gone -
Don, You are really sophisticated in construction of CCTV. Basically, less more new one in this field know this legacy gear to dispach.

Or yu could consdiering carry out VGA/HDMI video processor w/ PS2 port, which similar KVM but its allow two or more chaneel in dual/quad spliting on one monitor/TV with mouse to control.

System Setup for Bar Cash Register (Loss Prevention)
joseph.chen0312 replied to BrianChicago's topic in System Design
All night club would be challenge for each installer and/or system integrator for myriad lighting and high activity rate. I agree with Tom point out you better carry out OSD BOX camera equipped P-iris lens e.g. AXIS, Vivotek.. As for legacy cash register, I have some idea, one set up virtual alert line which has programmed at some IP cam, NVR, VMS even for analogue DVR or you could stick magnetic sensor to register while its opening it can triggering system to snapshot to be event for premises owner. -

Can a PIR motion sensor be installed to monitor vertically?
joseph.chen0312 replied to f13dfx's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Actually, we did not developing IP camera but migrating to HD-SDI. You may try by yourdself, to see to believe, I just imput what feedback from my clients. IP 67 is not relative to heat cooling. -
Thank you. and RG59 is about 95M and RG6 is about below 150M. As I know some one has test it go through used cable and it would more shorter so I think you better consider equipped extending device to make sure the quality is well. In my opinion, HD-SDI would be growing up in coming years for we called traditionl CCTV field without louse Lan and internet set up. Cheers.

Why utilized SONY Exmor would be good in the night? And I never think Hikvision and Dahua is good art at Camera ever. As above mentioned, Sunel is fine I have seen. Actuallu, I think most professional SI, installer would be agree with vivotek and acti is better. Dedicated to you a hard working sales rep.

Can a PIR motion sensor be installed to monitor vertically?
joseph.chen0312 replied to f13dfx's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
No not yet, but my clients has installed and they say all stream is fine and friendly in EagleEYE. But poor in optical performance it seems more bright to over exposure. -
Yes key issue is shorter distance in transmission. But now have some extending gear i.e. repeater, SDI-Fiber optical convertor. As you mentioned, three nearby building. You better gauge each distance for estimate which solution is better. I guess, you may consider high portional cost of man power to trench and replace cable. So you could make a total cost comparsion table for you study which is best solution and premises owner will taking. Cheers,

Yes the model is IR bullet for outdoor. But as I know the casings is made of plastic. I am not sure how is cooling capability? Basically, IR outdoor camera is use aluminum. -
You better consider using explosive-proor camera, which you know is designed to withstand high temperature and harsh enviroment.
