Any help would be great. I have a GV800 and a Panasonic WV-CW864A PTZ I am trying to use this with a RS485 does anyone know if this is possible. I am using Version 6.0 of the software. If this is possible can anyone help me with instructions on how to get it to work? Thanks Kara

I have the Panasonic instructions and forgive me for being a newbie so please go easy. I have the cam set so that the unit # is 1, baud is 9600, data bit is 8, parity check is none, xon/xoff not used, there are 2 banks of dip switches the small one is used for RS-485 termination and half duplex ( 2 line ) i have these all in on position. The next larger switch says "For Panasonic Protocol " I have it set for 1-96* all off but last dip # 8 this says setting should be made on the RS485 setup menu. When I turn the cam on it displays the setting properties. The data connector on the cam is a 5 wire phone trpe connector (RJ 11) I am using a female jack with the wires from my RS485 punched down to the Red and Orange of the male jack on the cam says " Data transimssion, the yellow and green say data reception. I have the GV800 set to P-version protocol and the camera selected is pelco dome because i cannot select the right panasonic cam. Thanks again all for tips and help. Hopeless lady. Kara

Does anyone know if I can use a GV800 DVR Card and my Panasonic PTZ WV-CW864A ? I am dieing to get this working. If It will not work does anyone know of a DVR card that supports this cam. I am using a RS485 and it works fine with my 3X Sony mini PTZ but I cannot get it working with the new Panasonic? ANY Help would be great. Thx Hopeless and waiting Kara
