I recently bought the same DVR. I'm glad you're pleased with yours as that makes me feel better about my purchase. I bought a lorex system last year from Costco and the dvr died 3 months in. The Qvis (Dahua) seem to be well regarded on here. Do you have any nightshots using the ir? My playback is a little fuzzy at night on a couple cams but I'm almost certain I'm expecting too much out of the cameras I'm using in certain areas. I'm brand new to this so every bit I can learn helps.

Hello all. I've been lurking here for a while but just recently joined. I bought a system from Seanhawg and am quite pleased although now I find myself wanting to add and upgrade! There is lots of good info here and I'd like to thank the regular posters for all the great info they post up, it sure helps a new guy at this. Smitty
