QUESTION: Im a cctv instasller but i never configure networks or set up dvrs other then hooking them up. I just installed a Brand New Intellex DVMS in my rental property which is out of state, I connected the dvr to my internet which HAS A STATIC IP ADRESS. I installed the Network client software on my laptop and put in the IP Adress info etc. the problem is that it cant find my device or instrument (my intellex). IS there something that needs to be done on the intellex end in order to connect or something? (I had my internet upgraded to the static ip adress)
