Does anyone here have visio CCTV stencil that i could download? Long time back i had read a post discussing visio for their CCTV drawings.

Has anyone used CBC's DR4N dvrs. They are cheaper than NUVICO's and built by reputed company. I guess I will give this DR4N a try for my next order. Please post about your experiences with DR4N or DR8N..

Rory, I have just one J series install. Remote software is alright to me. Some times the software seems to hang up in playback mode. PM me rory and I will send you a link. But it is much good compared to all the cheep stuff that you find on the internet just for $520(4 channel).

I have this customer that has a server problem of people from the nighbourhood using his convenience store garbage dumpster. He wants me to design a sytsem where by the cashier can be made of, when someone come by the dumpster to throw trash. So that the owner can get the video and catch him at the very same time. he is using a GV800 16 channel pc system. Need some innovative idea regarding this system.

CollinR. Can you please elobrate with detail. I heven't used any kind of relay with a buzzer ever. Again this is a Gv system. Hence I guess i will need a IO Net card. How do I install the buzzer, relay I mean a wiring diagram...

I had post the same question with GV 1120. based on Rory answer i got rid of the Nvidia 6200 video card. Then I used the onboard video, it just worked fine...

I get this blue screen on all the channels when the DSP overlay is checked in the configure menu. this has a intel chipset with nvidia 6200 video card. and am using GV 1120 16 channels. I was wondering should i reintall GV system. The first time I started the machine after card installation. There was a message that the system has recovered from a serious error. with DSP unchecked all the channels show all the videos perfectly. Wondering what could be wrong

can anyone help me with a system that I have at a customers business. This system reboots or probably goes into a standby mode every 10-15 minuts. There are no video loss on any cameras either. I have checked all the window OS setting but every thing seems normal to me. i hsve no clue guys...

got it fixed guys. I went there and saw that he had set the system to go on standby. thanks though

this system was running smooth for more than a year. i reinstalled the OS and upgraded Geo software from 7.0 to 8.0. As suggested i will reinstall geosoftware.

Has anyone in the forum used Eclipse Dvr cards. I was wondering do their RCA TV out give a multiplexed view? Is this view independent for the Pc monitor view. I have this customer who really wants this feature without spending more money to go with GV1120 or Video insight VJ series.

where do I get the drivers for this card? Or does the Koditech software install the drivers too..

Hi, I have this GV system that I need to power up after the electricity has come on. I have made this BIOS setting that will turn on the system. With this options if you physically unplug the power cord and plug it back in, the system will power up. But it will not work if the electricity goes off and comesback on. I have some stanalones that I dont have to physically turn on after the electricity is back on.

Bought it from you Andrew @ Icrealtime. Called a few times and talked to the sales rep and tech support. They told me to change the frame rate. Did that but still there. Will try your suggestion in the previous post

i have ups at all my installs, but what about extended power loss for more than 15 to 45 min

I have 1 one unit that has a problem with remote viewing. After about a minute of connecting remotely, the videos turn green and checkered ( likes a chess board). I still havn't got that corrected.

Does anyone here know how to validate the serial # for geovision cards? I have come across some cards that donot look right......

I have tried one such SDK, facial recog is still in its infancy and has a long way to go for the kind of application you are requesting at a affordable price. With the current technology you have to have the subject look straight at the camera for about 3 to 8 sec before the system gives results.

you could use either male or female pigtails for power that can go on either end of the cable..

how would the flashing light play a role in the type of lens that I could use if I install B/W cameras? I doubt there will be any varitions in lights other than flashing lights. Do you think manual iris lenses would be alright?

GSS. do you really need a that camera with ir cut filter. what about this particular model NVCC-W28IR12N. Do you think black and white cameras will be better?
