Their just screen shots on the computer from the MileStone Xprotect go playback screen.... not actual snapshots from the program.

Does anyone else have issues with it's Motion Detection. It'll record when it see's motion, and for the 5 seconds after motion (because I have it set to) but then it'll stop. It's like once it see's motion it won't continue looking for the motion.

Awesome that worked, thank you. And there must be an issue because with Xprotect go it had no issue picking up my 3 Hik's and after I set a few motion detect settings it's been working great. I haven't gotten into the online server so I can see it on my cell phone or anything yet but hope too soon.

Alright so I'm going to chime in here and see if I can get some help. I only have 3 cameras installed. The Issue I have is one of my cameras on live view show "Stopped" But I have checked the schedules on all cameras and it shows all on. I even tried reverting back to an old date and it didn't help. I guess I wouldn't mind having to uninstall and reinstall the software and license but if I can't fix this issue I'll have to do that.

Im lost on what's left for me to do. I've reset everything, ensured schedule is on but it's still "Stopped"

Yeah in sadp I can open the ip the of cam and log on to hiks web browser and it's fine. So it's milestone. I'll restart everything and see if that fix's it. I have some cctv I need to upload for you guys. Gad a fedex guy, dog food delivery and both were good enough to ID imo.

Yeah, I figured until then it should be fine. It's not so much an attic as an unfinished upstairs. it's like 8ft tall and has a window. :/ I have one of my cameras showing "Stopped" instead of "Live" like the others in my smart client and I can't figure out the issue. It looks like the image is frozen.

Lol Yeah I saw that and set it. I also set the switch in the attic. So I have a cable run from the router into the attic to the switch, then from the switch to the cameras, finally.

Well finally got around to running some cat5e through the attic. a real pita. Got 3 of the 4 cams up now. I'm loving these small bullets!

Just got notice from the wife the 2 Hik's have arrived. Putting me at 4 Hik 3MP Bullets and the switch. Looks like I'll be running some cat5e tomm. And testing that poe switch

Awesome, I saw the manage offline so I'll try that when I get home. In live video settings FULL was the only option that showed clear when I hit Ultra (For MP) it was blurry. Not sure if you have had the same issue. I'm so new to it all I still gotta figure out how to set up everything like the server stuff so I can see it from other computers and our smart phones.

It's Xprotect go. I registered it for the free year license and it instructs to go to the about tab and under license type in the code sent via email but it won't allow me to type into that box. I'm not home, won't be until sunday when I get off the 48hr shift i'm working so I can't mess with it yet... I'm going to read/watch some guides so when I get off hopefully I'll be able to get everything set up properly.

I downloaded it, registered it but still showing it as a 30day trial. Downlloading the server side smart client as I'm trying to get it setup so I can view from my smartphone.

Alright thanks. Yeah It had material for where the ports are, but on the bottom of the unit was none. It sat in the box with nothing between em. I'll test it once I get off work as I don't know if Ill have the time tonight/tomm without upsetting the wife. lol Installing Xprotect go right now so when the rest of the cameras arrive it'll be recorded. Not to mention I shouldn't have waited anyway.

Well, I got the refurbed switch but the box had a hole, not a big deal as that would be the shipping companies fault but what does bother me is through the hole I could perfectly see the poe switch meaning it was not packaged like it should have been. Opening it revealed that the bottom of it had absolutely zero packaging material. I've emailed the company so we'll see what happens, I can't test the unit for a couple days as I'm starting a 48hr shift in the morning and sleep is more important. The far port is pretty destroyed.... Zero packaging material protecting the bottom of the unit. Worst part is I wasn't able to get the cameras that are mounted to record to my hard drive so I didn't get the delivery man putting the package on my porch because I didn't have Blueiris.

So I guess I'm buying blueiris... But before that the hikvision web broswer won't pick up any of my hard drives to use as recording destination. When I git capture or record it sends it to a file but in the storage tab nothing shows... any help?

Saw this refurb unit for $99 from where I bought my 3MP Hik Bullets, Is this the best poe switch I can get for about 100 bucks? ( Motion ) Should I pull the trigger or am I missing a better product somewhere online for my money. 8 poe should be perfect. I'll only have 4 bullets for awhile.

Alrighty... Just pulled the trigger on some more wonderful stuff! Bought the 8 Port POE Managed Switch http://wrightwoodsurveillance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=314 Also Purchased 2 more Hik 3MP 4mm Bullets. So I'll have my (4) 3mp Hik Bullets, the switch and Probably Bluiris since I can't see anything better as of right now. I'm going to look for a battery back up for the switch, and one for my computer too. After I get all this setup I'm going to call it good for awhile, direct my finances towards some other stuff. So Happy I finally got all this ****. Only took a year of waiting around. Im sure some of you guys are happy I did too so I can stop asking the same questions over and over. lol

Well... I bought it so I guess we'll see how it is when I get it. lol
