  1. Thank you! Okay, I have the dip switch correct and still no video image. I do not own a monitor or a handheld device, so I should take it somewhere that I can verify the unit is functioning correctly first. I will do that and reply back. Thanks again. Danny
  2. This is my first PTZ camera. All my other cameras are network cameras so I know not how to make a true PTZ work. Does anyone have the know how to hook this up to an Axis 243q encoder? Do I need to set the Buad switches? I have it hooked up to the encoder. The power light is on the cameras power supply, so it is getting power, but when I try to view it through the Axis server, it shows and says "no video" Help, help, help Security of a free nation depends on your help Danny
  3. I am new to the CCTV world and currently view cameras at a remote house of mine via an Axis 243Q encoder. I run various bullet cams and it's fairly straight forward. My challenge now is to make my recently acquired Pelco Esprit positioning system to connect. Having never connected a PTZ camera, I have run into what seems like some complications. So far, I put power to the camera via a Pelco power supply. The light indicating the power is on came on and I hooked up the co-ax cable to my encoder. I get "no image" when I access the camera via Axis web browser template. Also, should the camera make any indication that it's on? Do something besides stay limp? Do I need to do something with the baud rate switches? I so much appreciate any help out there. Danny
