Hi Avtechuser, I also had problems with my KPD-675 DVR, but I managed to make it work, although it resets power from time to time and Ihave not figured out yet why . The blank screen yoou mention maybe because of the dvr going into reset state. Check the log and if you see a report with "Power On" it means that it tries to reboot. Apart from remote connection either from mobile or laptop have you tried local connection output to a TV screen . Has it worked well then ? I use Eagle-Eye software with mobile and I used to do just a http connection from an IE , using the internal web server software of KPD , it worked but also I tried the VideoViewer which also worked BUT as I told you it is frequent that power reset happens so during that time the returned screen is blank with the Loading circle in it.
