Hello, i recently purchased a small nanny cam on eBay to see what is happening when i am not home. I am very unknowledgable about this sort of thing so please bear with me. From what i understand, the camera transmits the video to a receiver, which is hooked up to a device with a video input (tv/vcr/computer). Ultimately what i want to do is run this through a laptop and be able to record what is going on, so that i may watch this when i am home. So the questions... #1...is this possible? It seems simple enough but few things ever are... #2...I am assuming i would need some sort of recording program on the computer. Are there free ones for download that are recommended/safe? #3...if it is easier than a laptop, would i be able to just hook up the receiver only to a vcr during recording? then just hook it up to the tv to view? Any other info, input, or anything at all is greatly appreciated. thank you.
